The workshop on Digitalization and Technology in Language, Literary, and Culture consists of two topics:
1. “Eye-tracking Technology in Multimedia-Based Learning”

2. “Multimedia Learning Tools to Enhance Classroom Engagement.”

Eye tracking is a technology used to track and measure the eye movements of individuals when they are observing or reading. This technology utilizes specialized hardware and software that can accurately record and analyze eye movements. By tracking participants’ eye movements, this technology provides valuable insights into their visual attention, gaze patterns, and cognitive processes during learning activities. The workshop aims to explore the potential of eye-tracking technology in its application and development especially in multimedia-based learning.

On the other hand, “Multimedia Learning Tools to Enhance Classroom Engagement” is a topic that discusses the use of multimedia learning tools to enhance student engagement in the classroom. In this context, multimedia refers to the use of various media such as images, audio, video, and interactive elements in the learning process. Multimedia learning tools can include software, applications, or platforms that facilitate the use of diverse media in teaching. The objective of using these tools is to create a more engaging learning environment, motivate students, and facilitate a better understanding of learning.

Workshop activities

  1. the speakers will present materials on both of these research areas
  2. Question-and-answer (Q&A) session with the workshop participants
  3. In the Q&A session, participants are encouraged to inquire and confirm information related to eye tracking and multimedia learning tools.
  4. Practical session for participants to plan research designs or instructional approaches using multimedia tools, accompanied by expert reviews of their research plans
    Workshop Expectation :
Through this workshop, participants will gain a solid understanding of both eye tracking and multimedia tools.
